My name is Rich Horton. I am a full-time music fan/dork/geek, as well as a sometimes professor of Political Science and Philosophy.
In order to clear up any possible confusion, I want to make it clear that I am not the same Rich Horton who writes for Rift Magazine. I know we both love power pop, we both live in the same area, and we both have the same name, but my wife assures me we are in fact different people. I'm also not the Rich Horton who writes in Science Fiction circles - I'm more a fan of the Flashman novels myself - and I'm not even Dr. Richard Horton famed British medical researcher.
In any event, welcome to The Pub. I hope you find it a comfortable place to come back to from time to time. I also hope you find some kick ass music here.
